At age 14, a friend loaned Brett videos that taught simple magic tricks. Brett meticulously studied the materials on the tapes, and he instantly fell in love with the art of illusion. He began showing magic tricks to anyone who would watch: friends, family, and children on his school bus. For three years, he practiced and studied hoping to one day work at a restaurant as a close-up magician.
After a failed attempt to get a restaurant magic job, God redirected Brett's focus. In March of 2005, Brett Myers founded BAMmagic Ministries to share God's message of truth and redemption using the art of illusion. He immediately began studying entertainment, theater, showmanship, and communication. Brett continues to add new elements of excitement to his show, including the use of animals, comedy, pyrotechnics, and music.
Currently, Brett is studying communications at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee. He's working to develop BAMmagic Ministries into a full time ministry by the time he graduates from Bryan College in May of 2009.
